Vault owners can receive notifications in either English or French, depending on their language preference. This article outlines the different types of notifications available and how to manage them.
Types of Notifications:
In-App / Bell Notifications
These notifications appear in the top right corner of the vault under the bell icon. There are three options available:
All Documents Uploads: Receive a notification when a user uploads a document to any folder within the All Documents tab. Each notification includes a hyperlink for quick access to the file.
Unfiled Document Uploads: Get notified when a document is uploaded to the Unfiled Tab by any user or collaborator. This also includes a hyperlink for easy access.
Document Deletions: Receive a notification when a document is deleted from the vault.
Email Notifications
When enabled, email notifications are triggered by specific actions:
Inbound Email Attachments: Vault holders receive an email when a document is sent as an attachment via Inbound Email.
All Documents Uploads: Get an email when a user uploads a document to any folder under the All Documents tab. Access the vault and from there check the Bell notification hyperlink for quick access.
Unfiled Document Uploads: Receive an email notification for uploads in the Unfiled Tab. If this option is enabled, the sender will also receive a notification.
Steps to Enable or Disable Notifications
Managing notifications is a straightforward two-step process:
Step 1: Click on the top-right corner and click on 'Account Settings'
Step 2: Click on Notifications
Toggle ON and OFF depending on your preference each section for In-App Notifications (Bell) or Email Notifications. Click 'Update'.
