We’ve upgraded the Expiring Documents capability to provide more flexibility and control, making it easier for users across various tiers to manage critical document deadlines. Key enhancements include:
Extended Access to Sub-Portals:
Head Office users in 3-tier portals can now request to extend the Expiring Documents section to sub-portal users. This allows sub-portal users (i.e., Advisors underneath a Head Office tier) to view and manage files with expiration dates across all Vaults within their portal. This is a powerful extension empowering users at every level to stay on top of expiring documents.
Set Expiration Dates in the Side Panel Preview:
Expiration dates can now be added directly from the side panel while previewing a file, simplifying the process of adding and managing document expiration dates.
Bulk Manage Expiration Dates via Admin Portal:
A new calendar icon in the Admin Portal allows users to choose a date range for bulk overview and management of files. This bulk management feature also includes resolving expiration dates, which will automatically remove the file from the Expiring Documents list once resolved.
Filter, Export, and Open Documents:
Users can now filter files by labels, export their file selections, and even open a document or access the associated Vault (i.e., the Client Vault) directly from the Expiring Documents section, streamlining the workflow.
Extended to Corporate and Personal Vaults:
The Expiring Documents tab in the left-hand menu is now available inside all Vaults, including Corporate Vaults and Single Vaults, making it easier for end-users to manage critical document expiration dates across both corporate and personal vaults.
Available for 4-Tier Portals:
4-tier portal users can now view the Expiring Documents section under all their Corporate Vaults, giving them a comprehensive overview of expiring files across all companies.
These new features and enhancements bring greater efficiency and control to document management, bringing a level of precision to managing and overseeing expiring documents like never before.
