Managing your documents (and information) in FutureVault continues to improve! Our recent platform enhancements and updates bring new ways to organize, find, and manage your files effortlessly.
1. Copy Files in One Click
You can now copy files (excluding Company or Advisor-uploaded files) inside your Vault with a single click.
Use Cases:
- Share securely: Keep the original documents in private folder locations while copying the same files into shared folder locations for trusted third party (e.g., tax advisor or lawyer).
- Organize better: Duplicate and store a document in different locations.
- Track versions: Save a copy before making edits or updates.
2. Add Multiple Labels for Easy Search & Filtering
You can now apply multiple labels to a file, making it easier to find what you need and when you need it.
Why it’s useful:
- Labels help categorize files more effectively.
- When searching or filtering, you’ll get better, faster results.
✅ Pro Tip: If your Vault has AI features enabled, labels will enhance AI-powered search and recommendations.
3. AI Summaries and Chat: Copy Document Summaries and AI Chat Results Instantly
If your Vault includes AI-Powered Insights and Assistance, you can quickly copy chat and document summary results with one click. *If AI feature is enabled for the portal.
Why this matters:
- Easily save AI-Powered Insights for future reference.
- Paste information into documents or share it with trusted contacts when and where needed.
4. Expiring Documents: View Days Remaining
When viewing the Expiring Documents page (List View only), you’ll now see:
- The number of days remaining until document expiration.
- The exact expiration date for a quick overview.
These changes make it easier to keep your life's most important information organized, track critical deadlines (dates) and take any necessary action needed before documents expire.
