Find Folder Locations Directly from File Search

Modified on: Wed, 17 Sep, 2025 at 10:52 PM

Stop hunting blindly! ? Now when you search for a file, the folder location is shown in the search dropdown, so you can quickly open the folder without remembering its name.

As a vault user, sometimes you know the file you need but forget the folder it’s in. Previously, searching for the file would show only the file itself, and you had to manually locate the folder.

Now, the search dropdown displays the folder location for each file, making it easier to:

  • Identify which folder contains the file

  • Navigate directly to the folder without additional clicks

  • Save time and reduce frustration when organizing or accessing documents

How to Use:

  1. Go to the Search bar in your vault.

  2. Type the name of the file you’re looking for.

  3. In the dropdown results, view the folder location displayed for each file.

  4. Click the folder link to open the folder directly and access your file in context.

This enhancement ensures that users can quickly locate folders even when the folder name is forgotten, improving navigation and overall efficiency in the vault.
