Smarter File Upload Requests: More Control, More Visibility

Our upgraded File Upload Request Link gives you more flexibility, better collaboration, and greater control. From editable request details to shared email notifications, managing incoming documents has never been easier.

We’ve expanded the File Upload Request link to help you streamline collaboration and improve tracking:

  • Add additional recipients to receive email notifications when documents are uploaded.
  • Edit Requests directly from the Folders or the Share Tab.
    Click the 3 dots to Edit the Request 
  • Edit key fields of the request, including:

    • Request link name

    • Document names (add or rename)

    • Add Reminders

    • Add Expiration date

  • Password protection remains unchanged—once set, it cannot be modified for security purposes.

These enhancements give you more power to personalize each request, follow up effectively, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

How to Use the Enhanced File Upload Request Link

  1. Create or open a File Upload Request link.

  2. In the panel, edit any of the new customizable fields:

    • Update the link name

    • Add or rename documents requested

    • Set a reminder

    • Add an expiration date

  3. Under Notifications Preferences, add the contact or email addresses of anyone who should receive alerts when files are uploaded.Under Notifications Preferences, add the contact or email addresses of anyone who should receive alerts when files are uploaded.

  4. Click Save to finalize your request.

  5. Share the link as usual and track uploads with your enhanced notification settings.

Important Note:

If a password was set, please keep in mind that it cannot be changed.
