I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

If you're unable to access your account because you've forgotten your password, don't worry! You can easily reset it at any time. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get back into your account:

Step 1: Go to the login page.

First, navigate to the login page. Make sure you are on the correct URL for your account. If your vault or account is provided by a specific company, ensure you’re on their dedicated login page. The login page on FutureVault.com is for FutureVault's direct clients or employees only, so double-check to avoid any confusion. 

Step 2: Click on "Forgot your Password?"

Below the login button, you’ll see the option Forgot your Password?. Click on it to begin the reset process.

Step 3: Enter your email address

Next, enter the email address you normally use to log in. This is the same address you used when setting up your account or the one associated with your vault access. 

Step 4: Click on 'Send Reset Password Link'

Once you've entered your email address, click on the Send Reset Password Link button to receive an email with a link to reset your password. Add email and click on Send Reset Password Link

Step 5: Check Your Email and Follow the Steps 

Open the email you receive and follow the instructions to reset your password. For security reasons, the link will expire 60 minutes after being sent, so be sure to act quickly.

  • Important: If you try multiple times, you might receive several emails. Always use the most recent email to ensure you're using a valid reset link.
  • If the link expires, you can simply request a new one by repeating the steps.
Info! The reset email will come from noreply@futurevault.com with the subject line: "Portal Vault Name: Password Reset Instructions." To ensure you don’t miss the email, we recommend whitelisting noreply@futurevault.com in your email provider to avoid it being marked as spam.

Users with Single Sign-On (SSO) Access

If your Portal/ Account is integrated with Single Sign-On (SSO), you will not be able to reset your password directly through the login page. Instead, you will need to reset your password through the primary system where you normally log in to access the vault (such as your organization’s identity provider).

If you’re unsure whether your account uses SSO, please check with your organization's IT administrator or contact support for assistance.

Once you've reset your password through the primary system, you should be able to log in to FutureVault without any issues.
