How to enable the Multi-Factor Authentication?

Modified on: Thu, 3 Oct, 2024 at 3:57 PM

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) goes beyond the traditional username and password setup, requiring an additional piece of unique information known only to the user, such as a physical PIN. By enabling MFA on your account, you're adding an extra layer of security to safeguard all the documents and information accessible through it.

How it works

Upon activating this security feature, accessing your account demands entering a distinct verification code. This code is either sent via text message (SMS) to your registered mobile number or generated by an Authenticator app of your choice. Each time you log in, a new code is required.

Turn ON Multi-Factor Authentication in Settings

  • Navigate to Account Settings: Click on your name at the top right corner and select "Account Settings."
  • Access the Security Tab.
  • Within the MFA section, choose your preferred method for receiving the PIN—either through SMS Notifications or an Authenticator app.
  • After selecting your method, the system will dispatch a PIN to confirm the designated number.

  • Upon confirmation, a message will notify you of the successful activation of MFA.

  • If you enable both options a new bar will allow you to pick your preference, we suggest to select 'Choose each time I login'

Attention!  When selecting 'Choose each time I login' the next time you access your account it will show both option.
